This intermediate with muffler and rear pipe plus resonator has been designed in collaboration with one of the leading French 4x4 cell manufacturers. Several options are available for the terminal output, depending on the equipment. The central muffler is designed with internal chambers, volumes and pitches are calculated in relation to engine breathing for optimum efficiency. Made entirely of stainless steel (exterior and interior), this muffler will last the life of the vehicle. The sound is slightly more present than the original, with improved performance at all engine speeds. The polished and brushed double wrap around the muffler stops vibrations in the chambers at certain engine speeds, provides better protection against heat generated and reinforces the part in case of impact. The rear pipe is also included on this model, and is fitted with a resonator to quiet the end noise. As the engine runs smoother, fuel consumption is reduced for the same amount of driving. Gaskets and bolts supplied.
