Puma Heater Deflector

The Puma Heater Deflector solves the problem of that crude and annoying blast of hot air to your lower legs in all Puma engine Defenders (2007 onwards, 2/2.4Tdci).

The PHD redirects the flow of air fr0m the lower heater outlets forwards into the footwell, rather than directly at your legs to create a more comfortable driving environment.

The PHD moulding fixes easily in place using the supplied push-fit fasteners and can be fitted in 5-minutes (see fitting instructions tab above).All you need is a 4.5mm drill. Position the PHD. Drill the fixing holes in the lower dash section and fix the PHD in place using the push-fit fasteners.

Puma Heater Deflector Fitting Instructions

1. Before you install the XYZ we recommend drilling out the fixing positions in the moulding with a 4.5mm drill. The fixing positions can be identified by the four small dimples within the moulding

2. We also recommend trimming the four corners of the moulding with a file to create a radius on the corner. This will provide a neater appearance to the install.

3. Position the XYZ in place by ensuring the top edge is tucked underneath the bottom edge of the dashboard. Push the XYZ upwards as far as it will go.

4. Hold the XYZ in place and mark the positions for the four fixing holes in the dashboard through the holes you have just made in the moulding.

5. Use a 4.5mm drill to create the fixing holes in the dashboard. Drill slowly and do not press too hard whilst drilling to avoid hitting the heater assembly/pipework.

6. Secure the XYZ in place by pushing the four plastic rivets through the moulding and into the dashboard. The XYZ is installation is now complete.
