The gas pressure set is, of course, a real surprise, especially when a spare wheel or HiLift is mounted on the bonnet. With just one finger, the hood still opens as if by itself and remains open even in storm and wind.

By means of a setting valve, the pressure - and thus the force - can be reduced in the gas spring in order to be able to set each hood equally well. Important: The spring rather a bit stronger let that in the winter everything is also easy to open.

We recommend using our bonnet hinges when installing the gas pressure kits. This ensures that the hood is always kept clean.

Please note: To mount our gas pressure spring kit, of course, our fenders with a low gas spring intake are required. With the Td4 the set fits unfortunately only on models with flat brake booster from 2010!
