This beefy upgrade allows for installation of a larger spare tyre and wheel on your Jeep JK without damaging the vehicle. The factory JK tyre carrier simply isn’t designed to withstand the size and weight of a larger, aftermarket tyre and wheel.  Made of a durable, aluminum construction, this kit is designed to replace the weak factory joints while eliminating stress and rattle. Rough Country’s heavy-duty hinged tyre carrier kit includes a reinforced hinge replacement system and an adjustable spare tyre mount, allowing you to mount up to a 37" tyre with plenty of clearance over a factory or aftermarket bumper. Each kit  also includes a 3rd brake relocation bracket to retain your factory brake light. This easy to install kit features a bolt-on installation process with no cutting or drilling required.
