Replace that loose USB input cable trailing from the back of your head-unit in your Land Rover with our dedicated dash-mounted USB input socket. The MUD USB Extension socket provides a neat way to connect to any head-unit equipped with a Apple Carplay/Android Auto by connecting the USB via the rear of the head unit.

The MUD USB Extension socket is equipped with a Male USB A connector to plug directly into the Female USB A socket/lead on the back of your head unit.

Plug your phones power lead directly into the MUD USB Extension Socket on your Land Rover dashboard to provide Android Auto or Apple CarPlay connectivity and simultaneous phone charging.

Length of extension lead is 1000mm.
Musical Note illuminates green when powered by the vehicle.
    Finish of rocker is Black.

We’ve styled the USB Extension socket to complement the original Land Rover Td5/Tdci switch design.  The USB Extension socket will slot into the factory switch apertures on the Defender Td5 (2002-2006) & Tdci (2007-2016 - Puma) dashboards.

The MUD Land Rover USB Extension socket will also fit the apertures within the Freelander 1 & Discovery 2 & ‘Soft-Dash’ Classic Range Rover. It will also fit the MUD Puma Pod II & any Puma Double DIN Console switch relocation panels.

MUD Tip: The green illumination of the USB is a brighter green than the factory LED illumination. If this is problematic for you, you can remove the rocker from the USB rotate the switch round then re-apply the rocker. This stops the musical note from illuminating when powered.
