This 1358mm/53.5" Slimline II full size roof rack kit contains the Slimline II roof rack, wind deflector and 4 pairs of rail grip feet to install the Slimline II roof rack to the rails of your Volkswagen T-Cross. Easily installed with the grab feet on the existing factory rails. No drilling required.


All Front Runner roof rack kits come with installation instructions as well as all components necessary to mount the Slimline II to your vehicle.

Note: Your vehicle must be equipped with the factory rails in order to use this roof rack kit.

This kit can be removed leaving the roof of your vehicle and the rails in their original condition.

The factory rail kits are designed as a "light" duty solution. Please refer to your vehicle owner's manual for the manufacturer's recommended load capacity and do not exceed these limits.

For optimum load capacity, we recommend that there is no load overhang (excluding sports equipment) and that all weight is distributed evenly across the roof rack.

The factory rail sets are not suitable for extreme off-road conditions and therefore you should consider a different Front Runner mounting solution if this is your purpose.

The standard 8mm screw fits into the T-slot located at the top and bottom of the plate.

To determine the approximate height from the roof of your vehicle to the top of the Slimline II bar, you need to add the height of the Slimline II tray (50mm/ 2") to the height of the foot, Grab-On foot or Strap-On foot listed above.

If the Slimline II bar requires feet, you must add the height of the Slimline II tray (50mm/ 2") to the height of the foot to determine the height of the bar from the rain gutter.

If the bar needs fixing rails, you have to add the height of the Slimline II tray (50mm/ 2") to the height of the fixing rails to determine the height of the bar from the highest point of the vehicle roof.
