All Gobi-X products are designed and manufactured in-house by Gobi-X in South Africa. Parts are produced with CNC laser and bending machines for superior accuracy and consistency. Only certified premium quality steel is used for production. All Gobi-X products undergo a 6-bath pretreatment process, the last of which is a metal phosphate coating to prevent rusting. Finally, a powder coating ensures a superior quality finish and longer service life.
The side rails are bolted to the vehicle chassis side members with U-bolts, without the need to drill any holes. In this way, the side rails are very solid and securely fastened. The side rails are equipped with Hi-lift jack points that can be used for wheel changing or recovery. In addition to protecting your running boards on rough terrain, the side bars also provide a strong step for easy entry into your vehicle or access to your roof tent and stuff on your roof rack.
