All Gobi-X products are designed by Gobi-X's own draftsmen and manufactured in South Africa. Only certified premium quality steel is used in the manufacture of Gobi-X products.
The steel from which the rear bumper for the Ford Ranger is manufactured is CNC laser cut and then bent. This ensures superior accuracy and consistency. The bumpers then undergo a 6-bath pretreatment process, which includes a metal phosphate coating against rust.
The process Gobi-X uses for all of its products has been updated and now consists of not 1, but 2 coats of powder coating so you certainly don't have to worry about rust.
The rear bumper for the Ford Ranger includes two mounting legs that connect directly to the chassis, this provides tremendous strength. In addition, the bumper is equipped with Hi-Lift Jack points and you have the option of mounting strong swing arms on two sides. These swing arms are available separately for spare wheels, drum carriers and storage boxes.
With the bumper, you will receive a 6-pin connector for your trailer and a non-approved tow bar. The set also includes EU-approved LED taillights for improved visibility.
