The Dakar Pro is a shock absorber designed for standard 4×4 Off Road vehicles.

The Dakar monotube shock absorber is our best-selling shock absorber, and it's no coincidence...

It offers much better performance than a twin tube shock absorber, while maintaining a very affordable price.

It is a repairable shock absorber, which means that it can be completely disassembled and any failure can be solved. With proper maintenance we will have a shock absorber working at 100% for a long time.

The separate bottle means an increase in oil volume so large that in some models it exceeds more than double the capacity of the original shock absorber.

This lowers the working temperature and results in a more stable behaviour.

The cylinder is internally divided into two chambers, separated by a floating piston: one chamber into which the oil from the shock absorber flows, and another, isolated from the first, which contains pressurised nitrogen.

When the monotube shock absorber is compressed, some of the oil it contains travels through the hose to the separate cylinder. There it pushes the floating piston, which in turn compresses the nitrogen in the next chamber.

The force required to compress the nitrogen increases exponentially as it is pushed. If we push it a little, we need little force, but if we push it a lot, we need to exert a lot of pressure.

With this we get a soft behaviour, very sensitive to small impacts and, at the same time, a very firm setting at the end of the shock absorber travel, making the compression stops very difficult.
