EBC DOT 4 Glycol Brake and Clutch Fluid

For use in most modern 4x4.

Glycol fluids are 'Hygroscopic' i.e. they attract and absorb water; this means that over the time the fluid in your car brake or clutch system will degrade by the absorption of water.
It is not uncommon to find glycol fluids containing up to 13% or 14% water, which of course corrodes internal steel parts in your brake system and will promote early brake fade under heavy brake use.
For this reason regular replacement of your vehicle brake fluid is essential.
It also means that glycol fluids should only be used from a sealed container, which once opened starts, the degradation process immediately.

EBC DOT 4 Brake Fluid Specifications

Wet boiling point : 260°C / 500°F
Recommended for : UK, US European and Japanese 4x4
Mixes safely with DOT 3 and DOT 4 approved brake and clutch fluids
Please Note : CANNOT be mixed with DOT 5 silicone fluids.

General purpose glycol fluid with wet boiling point of 260°C/500°F for most
