Necessary to wire from inside the passenger compartment to the Base Rack.

Traditionally, wiring of accessories fitted to roof racks has involved pulling the installation through the windshield, between the door wells and the B-pillar. As part of the evolution of the ARB BASE Rack, ARB engineers have developed a solution for wiring installations from inside the vehicle to the outside in an orderly and clean way.
Two wiring kits have been developed. One kit is pre-wired with 6 wires (3 circuits) and the second kit has provision for 6 wires allowing for different wiring depending on usage needs.

Key criteria during development included:
• Waterproof solution for passing cables through the roof of a vehicle.
• Perfect integration with ARB BASE Rack.
• Outlet grommets to fit standard 3/8" (10mm) and 1/2" (13mm) OD conduit sizes.
• High quality automotive wire according to JASO standards (PN 1780400 only).
• Free of liquid adhesives.
• Disconnection kit to re-seal and close the passage points in the roof when the roof rack is removed (ref: ARB-1780620)

Observations:
The cable gland grommet is included, with 6.5m of cable already pre-installed. 4m outside and 2.5m inside the vehicle.
The 6-wire harness is made up of:
• Red and Red/Black 2.0mm² (25A)
• Green and Green/Black 0.5 mm² (11A)
• Yellow and Yellow/Black 0.5 mm² (11A)
